Everything was so tasty! Anyone that didn't come completely missed out.
And I know its over used but your home truly is lovely. One can tell that you really put a lot of effort into it.

Wow! As Ina would say, cookie exchange, with the VOLUME TURNED UP! Looks fabulous. My cookies certainly couldn't compare. Which did you make?

It was lovely. I enjoyed it very much - well, maybe except for the part where I started laughing/crying so hard I couldn't breathe. Thank you again for the invite!

I made the fruitcake cookies in the first picture. And we had glittery decorated cake boxes for people to take away their cookies in, little bound recipe guides with the recipes for all of the cookies exchanged, and little jars of homemade pumpkin butter as a little take away gift.

I had a really great time, and felt so blessed to have so many great, funny, charming friends. For two years now, be it being trapped in a NM hell hole tucked away far in the mountains, or working to the bone on this fixer upper refugee camp we called a house, I have been unable to entertain. Anyone who knows me knows that putting together little parties, and having people over is like breathing for me, it's like sanity. And I am so happy to once again finally have a place to welcome you all into.

And can we just say, I am not sure which is cuter my tiny little dog in his Christmas tie or the two sweet little babes. It is a close call.

Thanks for doing this with me, Jacob. It was beautiful and the food was amazing. And yeah, I laughed so hard. I'll get you next time gadget!

Yay!!! I had a great time. You and B really went all out to make it so festive and plush! I hope we can do it again next year.

Jenn sent me over, and I'm so glad she did. Everything looks so wonderful!

Is your recipe for fruitcake cookies from Barefoot Contessa? I've been wanting to make those? Were they yummy?
